Pioneered the development and deployment of a quantum key distribution (QKD) network enabling theoretically unbreakable encryption between financial institutions. The network uses entangled photon pairs transmitted through dedicated fiber optic channels, with quantum repeaters enabling 340km range. Successfully demonstrated secure key exchange rates of 10Mbps, sufficient for real-time encryption of high-frequency trading traffic. Patent pending on novel error correction algorithms.
